Grateful

Ate T will start the new phase of her life this Friday.  She will now be in Secondary School.  She got in to the school's accelerated program and was also given an academic scholarship.  Whew.  This is the first time I've made this public.  I am very, very proud of her but my shy daughter doesn't want anyone to know.

We are sooo thankful to Ate T for always doing her best.  Though her Ipad rules her life on most days, we know how diligent she is.  We're praying for her continuous success and that she'll have friends whom will be a good influence to her.

Thank you, Ate!

This Week Of My Life

The week started without my Tagalog tele-serye. Yes, I vowed to stop watching after Ysabella ended hehehe I vowed to stay away from the tv at night and just be with the "3" kids. Hahaha. So far, so good. I had a very interesting week at the office where my boss and I talked about my performance. I was quite disappointed with some of his "thoughts", I felt that it was very subjective especially when he had to name people who he thinks we should gang up with but I really really don't like. He said that I cannot choose my users. True. But, he's not a typical user, he's out to get our bloods (He always have to brag that he's rubbing shoulders with the head of all heads whenever we have meeting with him! As if that will scare me off! Hahaha!). Even though my blood was close to boiling point, I quickly signed off my appraisal form. Let's wait and see how "good" the result is in a few months. What got me spiffy are the little thing

Kikay at 4

I find her boyish and it surprises me when she runs to her ninang to have her nails polished. She would watch Ninang when she blow dry her hair. She never comes to me for these things. Because I will never be able to feed her imaginationwith lipstick, powder and nail polish. But, a few days before she turns 4. She asked for make up set and nail polish set. She didn't get this from me. I remember when I was already working. I had a pedicure, my nails colored with vibrant red (if I remembercorrectly?). When I got home (after a 10 minute walk), I took out the acetone from the medicien cabinetand removed the color. My daddy amused and watched me as I did this then made a comment, "nag-init ba mga kuko mo?" So, there goes my kakikayan. I was never a kikay. I was a tomboy growing up. As I have mentionedhere a lot of times, my hair gets a comb run twice a day (in the morning after bathing and in the eveningbefore going to bed). I don't wear make-up. I don't put on lotion.
