Day 15 : Don't Worry, Be Happy

Another work week has passed. And, by Monday, I have to slay dragons and go through dungeons. Bring it on! I don't want to think about it anymore, almost got into a fight with a special person because of that. Anger aside, just want to end this week with this picture. No matter how odd life seems to be, there's always these 3 people in my life who will make it pleasant. Happy Weekend! *** The pic was taken at Marina Square last Sunday while watching remote controlled tanks compete. Hehe. Sorry, can't remember the term!

Day 14 : A Terribly Bad Day

Well, I got this bad, bad news that management is going to review our email system. Well, since the email system is administered by me, I got the bad end of it all. Some of my colleagues has been making me feel that I am to be blamed. I feel so depressed.

Day 12 : Disadvantages of working from home

I always thought that I was a multi-tasker. Maybe I was. Until yesterday when one of the helpdesk guys called me up. We've had bad blood eversince and I won't go into our history because it just makes my blood boil. I asked what the problem was. And, asked some of details, what he sees in the screen, etc. Well, he was not helpful and was already shouting! I told him not to shout, but he had the nerve to tell me this "I will just restart the pc since you don't have a solution yet!" %$%$%$%$%$ OMG! How can I find a solution if I don't know the problem? Arghhhhh!

Day 11 : Pray

When you start your day in prayer, everything seemed so easy. Managed to squeeze the following in the morning : 1. Cook 2. Bathe the girls 3. Clean Bebi A's bottles 4. Sweep the floor 5. Washed our "basahan" 6. Chat (hahaha) 7. Work from Home (Ok, I really need to tell my boss that I am taking time off after this 2 week leave, haha) 8. Blog Hop So cool, right?! And, I am loving being at home. I don't need to try to make myself "office-presentable". Or spend unnecessarily because I am outside and can see all goodies lined up in Cold Storage. How I wish they will allow me to work from home. Much as I hate to admit one other factor of my good day was --- my boss was on leave so nobody to stressed me out.

Day 10 : Barney with the Sisters

We waited for two hours only to be plagued with "Change your Battery Pack"!!! Pre would have murdered me if the camera didn't cooperate. I turned it off most of the show, much much much to my dismay. But, seeing for myself how happy the two girls were was all worth it. Okay, so I am rationalizing hahaha We capped the day with dinner at 7107 with Sister C.

Day 8 : Restless

I kept on checking my email, my phone today. (But nobody cares hehehe) Soooo ironic, just when I (think) found my routine, I feel agitated. Maybe that's why I managed to finish my chores early to keep my mind from thinking too much. Have you ever craved some food but you don't know what it is? Well, that's describes it. My feeling. But, this is not about food. Speaking of, just a sidenote, the mini-mart here at our place now sells my favorite, Chippy! How cool is that! Though there's only the Chili and Cheeze left, I still bought it. For the sake. Anyway, my prayer warriors, please say a little prayer for me. Thanks!

Day 7 : Sleeping Child{ren}

These, I don't get to see often. Oh so innocent and unruly (at times hehehe), but I love them so!

Day 6 : Work From Home

My 6th day started early. I logged in to check my office mails, I want to make sure that I didn't miss any user queries or support. Oh yeah, did I mention that I am working from home while on leave? Grrrr, sayang ang leave ko! Sister C joked that I should just come to the office with the girls. Ok, I will do that, with some condition, there should be a bed for Bebi A there in case she wants to sleep hehe and of course, I need to be able to reimburse my taxi fare --- to and from. Alrighty! It was just a joke. I am actually quite worried that days are passing by quickly. Though my hands are wrinkled like prunes now, it still feels good to be at home with my girls. I really wouldn't trade sitting at my uncomfortable position at the office to the comforts of home. Given the choice, I'd like to continue this setup.

Day 5 : Wonder Pets

My daughters turned into monkeys. They seemed to like playing rough these days. And me, the ultra scared mommy turned to shout at them left and right. Blame it on PMS! Well, I am really like this. As I've said, patience is not my virtue. But, I try. And, I really don't want them to remember the party pooper mommy whom they will want lesser at home. Right? So, I really try to just close my eyes and breathe when Bebi A spills her blocks over. Or, when she runs and touches the walls with chocolates on her hands. Or when Dawter T piles her scraps of papers beside her bed. Or, when I had to call her 3 or 4 times just to make her brush her teeth. Whew! I almost fell asleep. That's a lot of things to close my eyes for haha. It's fun watching them though. Bebi A happilly munching the M & Ms (Okay, please! No contra! Eating is sort of our bonding moment.) I just make it a point not to put it directly in her mouth. The blocks --- I just sing "Clean up, clean up!" an

Day 4 : New Dawn

One door closes, another one opens. 'nuff said. Still couldn't fathom the turn of events but I'm sure tomorrow is a better day. As what they say, time heals wounds. Haha. Isang araw lang katapat nyan.

Day 3 : Mommy's Day Out

Even when Ate A is around, we usually go out by ourselves during Sunday. But, this is one of those Sundays when they let me do things that they won't normally have patience for hehehe thus it became my day off! (?!?!) They even let me nap for awhile when we got home from the mall. And, when I woke, the rice cooker was already on meaning Pre has already cooked rice, woohoo! Downside of the day was Bebi A throwing a fit when it was time to wash her. She wants to bring her toys to play with. She already has cough and I don't want her playing water unnecessarily. Ayun, tagal bago napatahan but I stood firm. Hehe.

Day 2 - In The Name of Love

Woke up early to prepare breakfast and go to the market. Came back to a house of energized girls due to an early morning trip to the monkey bar and to Pre who's watching NBA. Did my routine (nothing new here as I am usually the one going to the market every Saturday) I did the laundry then started making lunch. Pre insisted to cook but I told him that I can handle it. What he did was triple "pogi" points though. He cleaned the living room. The thing with him is when he cleans up, it's really clean! Back to the days when we were still single and sharing a house with 4 other friends. We were a team during our scheduled weekend housekeeping. I clean up the kitchen, he mops the floors. Good deal! Hehe... Can't help reminisced our life back then.

Day 1 - Dish Washing

I woke up early (around 645am to check my mails hahaha) to prepare Pre's baon and to cook Dawter T's contribution at her school Christmas party. Fed the two girls with bacon and rice, surefire "ulam" for Dawter T (she managed to finish it in 30 mins!) Then, I coaxed her to take a bath early so that I can braid her hair. This is the only hair style that I can do decently coz I wore short hair until 5th grade. Di lang short hair ha, kulot pa! Hahaha!!! Manang na manang! Prepared for Pre's lunch after the school bus picked Dawter T up. He had adobo, sunny side up and tomato hehehe (replay!) While he ate, I prepared the food for dinner. O di ba? The thing that struck me today was dishwashing. I absolutely hate this chore. But, the whole day, I was washing pans, plates, glasses. No exaggeration. Did I have a change of heart? No Sireeee. I still don't like it. But, I don't like seeing the dishes piling up. While I was washing them, I was also thi

The 2 Week Challenge

This is what I've been waiting for since the start of the month. My 2 weeks vacation. Of course, people at the office can still call me. It tends to come with my job - the "on call" thing. Anyway, Ate A will be going home tonight via Cebu Pacific. So starting tonight, I will be a stay at home mom. I can't wait! I know it's not easy but I am up for the challenge!

She's All Grown Up

She's my very first inaanak. I used to baby sit her. I used to take her and her sister at the nearby grocery in Binan. I used to hide the remote control from her. I used to tease her a lot. And, now, she's all grown up! I love this picture amongst all the other pictures of her debut. There's something about the way Tito B was looking at her while his hand was ( a. scratching his head b. covering his temple c. shielding his head from rain hehehe joke lang po). It felt like tito B was telling himself --- "Huh, 18 na anak ko!" while Tita E was looking mighty pleased at her first born who doesn't look like the MOD (mother of the debutante) --- more like a sister. Masasabi ko lang, wahhhhhhhhh, I missed the fun and the whole hulla-boola! (Credits : Rhonna Farrer Color My World Digikit)

Be My Friend

(Title picked up from Dawter T and Bebi A's Barney Book) Freedom of Speech I decided to be a Gabriela and fight for our rights against the bullies (3 of them) at work. I landed with a thump. Why do I never learn that opening up your mouth to say something "meaningful" will cause you trouble. Well, I don't regret doing it but I think I lost an acquaintance or friend or whatever my relationship with. Oh well?! Do I really care? Or do I just want to win the Miss Congeniality award but succumbing to all their bullying tactics. Well, I spoke up. Fought for the underdogs. It's not that because one of the underdogs is someone close to my heart but also because I am one of them. Wahhhhh! Enough! But, I am really upset over it. Daddy Barney On the lighter side of life. It's not that the daughters are wishing that their Barney becomes daddy. But, on their Barney book (see title), there was a picture of Barney twirling the ball on his fingers. Bebi A associates that with
