Day 1 - Dish Washing

I woke up early (around 645am to check my mails hahaha) to prepare Pre's baon and to cook Dawter T's contribution at her school Christmas party. Fed the two girls with bacon and rice, surefire "ulam" for Dawter T (she managed to finish it in 30 mins!) Then, I coaxed her to take a bath early so that I can braid her hair. This is the only hair style that I can do decently coz I wore short hair until 5th grade. Di lang short hair ha, kulot pa! Hahaha!!! Manang na manang!

Prepared for Pre's lunch after the school bus picked Dawter T up. He had adobo, sunny side up and tomato hehehe (replay!) While he ate, I prepared the food for dinner. O di ba?

The thing that struck me today was dishwashing. I absolutely hate this chore. But, the whole day, I was washing pans, plates, glasses. No exaggeration. Did I have a change of heart? No Sireeee. I still don't like it. But, I don't like seeing the dishes piling up. While I was washing them, I was also thinking of our water consumption. I now think that almost 50% of our water bill goes to this. O ako lang maaksaya sa tubig? (Naririnig ko na asawa ko!)

The upside is that Dawter T helped me a lot today. She helped wiped the place mats. Helped me get things. So I gave her an award for being helpful (di ko pa lang napriprint, iniisip ko pa ang animal na helpful --- dog di ba?)

I guess I survived my first day. In between email checks, supporting my users, I managed to squeeze some me time hehehe blog hopping!

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Busy

Bebi A : Daddy, can you make me an airplane? Daddy : Later Ava, I am busy Bebi A : You always say you're busy, you're hurting my feelings... She then put her face down on the sofa. Drama queen!

2015

Looking back, 2015 is a mix of lows and highs, of mourning and dancing... 2015 held lots of firsts for us.  Ate T stepped into the world of secondary school and became a teen.  Ate A entered the world of school politics LOL and became a double digit tween.  Of course, not to be excluded is our cheeky baby A who turned 1 year old. Though this is not a first but I turned 40 this year.  Life begun as they say.  But, for me, it was just a continuation of the life I am trying to live wonderfully.  Though most of the happening during the first half of the year were more on the highs...  We faced some challenges on the second half.  We lost Tatay.  Though we prayed for his comfort, we couldn't help feel the lost.  A few weeks after, Pre's employer closed shop.  One day notice and bam!  No more office to go to.  I always believed that the Lord always prepare us for the best.  Pre's job hunting was not as pai...
