Follow The Sun

So, it's the last few days of my training. By Monday, I will be on-call in the morning til 2pm. This initiative by my group at work is quite good, though I am a bit scared hahaha (parang wala pa akong alam!) --- the on-call in our group will rotate in 3 time zones and it will follow wherever the sun is up hahaha Nobody needs to wake up at night anymore. Cool! Ok, one of the things that made me resign from the Blue company in 2006 was because of this On-call thing. The BIG difference is, I am on call 24x7 every 3 weeks!!! Bebi A was just a year old then so you can just imagine the stress. Sometimes my phone will ring at 2AM because the server is down. Wahhhh! I really hope that I'll be able to enjoy my work in this new company. I am tired of hopping around. It's time to settle down. Note : It's exactly a month today. Time flies.

Dawter T is 6!

Happy 6th Birthday to my dear princess! I cannot believe how time flies. She has grown up to be a very good daughter (though she continuously tries our patience because of her eating habits), a sister who cares and a friend who's very thoughtful. She's still young in our eyes. She loves art and I hope she pursue this. I am amazed by her creativity and sometimes couldn't believe that it comes from her. She loves watching tv (who doesn't!) and would always insist to turn to channel 33 or 34 (arghhhh!). She's very adept in computer and can even draw through MS Paint hehehe. She loves bread more than rice. She can eat three Bread Talk Cheese bread in one sitting. She can finish half of Gardenia's raisin loaf. She just doesn't get fat hehehe let's give thanks for that... But, Sister C always tell me that she and I were skinny when we were young and look at us now! Hahaha... I am at work as I write this. I wouldn't be able to join Pre, my daughters, Sister

Love Of My Life

This was taken last Sunday at the bus stop. Bebi A gamely posed while Dawter T had to wipe away her tears first hahaha (o di ba umiyak pa sya nyan!?) Dawter T is turning 6 this Friday. She will be celebrating it at school with her classmates. We (di pala ako kasama huhuhu) will be bringing cake, nuggets, hotdog and rice crispies (woohoo Tito P and Ninang B! Peborit talaga!). We also got a good buy of water bottles to give away to her classmates. And, it was Dawter T's idea not to put it inside a plastic goodie bag but just put candies and biscuits inside the water bottle itself. Bebi A's hair is getting longer but we hold off cutting it until it's one length. I wonder what she'll look like. In the lift that Sunday, there were some aunties who kept on pointing to Bebi A. I think they were kinda confused as to why she has clip on her hair. Then, they saw the earrings and laughed. We didn't understand for they were speaking in Mandarin but we guessed that th

Lift It Up

My boss asked me earlier if I am following the Olympics. He's very friendly, I guess. So, I told him about Bebi A, how she loves watching Weightlifting. Haha. He said it's random?! I said it's very unusual for someone as young as her to get interested in that. She would run to us when the lifter is not able to errr lift hehehe. Or, she gets excited when the lifter is able to lift it up. Haha. My guess is it's easy for her to understand what's happening unlike other sports. Oh, she likes swimming also and she's rooting for anyone in yellow uniform. Go Yewwow errr Australia!

08.08.08

A lot of people are getting married today or giving birth. They said that it's a lucky day! *wink* It's the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. Don't laugh but things like that gets me worked up --- I cry. I am too sensitive for my own good. A few days back, there was torch ceremony and when I saw Yao Ming, pool of tears started to form in my eyes hehehe. I guess deep down, it feels so good to see people coming together as one. (Sana parating ganun). I pray for world peace! Then, Singapore also have its own celebration tomorrow. It's the 43rd National Day! In the bus today, there are already a lot of people wearing red. Dawter T is wearing red shirt and white shorts today. They have a celebration at school. In fact, she will be singing "Singapore Town" along with classmates (they sing this song every year). A few days ago, Dawter T asked me if there's a Philippines Day! Hmmm, I only know of Philippines Independence Day so I told her June 12. (Tama ba
