Different occasions

Here comes the bride Bebi A's Ninang got married last Thursday. We hobbled over to the reception after work. Ninang F was radiant in her white dress. You wouldn't guess that she was up all night and was harassed most of the day. To R and F, Congratulations! Stay in love! Blow the candle Last Thursday was also Tita A's birthday. May all her wishes for her nth year come true! Goodbye? Or See you later? Last Saturday, we sent off our friend J with a dinner at Sizzler. I know that she's excited and all to see her better half and to start her new life down under. But, I feel quite sad that I wouldn't be seeing her anymore in our parties and get-together. People come and go in our lives. And, though there's distance, friends stay in our hearts and minds. We won't be able to forget them because they are part of us. Mareng J, I won't say goodbye. See you later. Hopefully, sooner than we think. Mwah.

Remembering 2006

1. We went back to the Philippines for a vacation. This is the first time my girls are going to the Philippines. We prepared them for it, especially Dawter T who is scared of flies. I was very excited because I haven't been back since my wedding. We had fun with our relatives. Managed to get to know my in-laws when we stayed with them. 2. Bebi A turned 1. My lola, my mama, two aunties and sister D came and help out with the preparation. 3. Dawter T @ Pre-School We talked to her a lot that she'll not be with mommy and daddy at school, even at the school bus. Our Dawter, the ever independent, didn't even shed a tear when her school bus picked her up the first time. It was the mommy who held back tears. She liked school, hates it when we tease her not go. 4. New Job Transferred at a new workplace mid year. Truly blessed to have been selected. But, I had troub

Leap of Faith

I just made a huge leap this year, not the usual New Year leap but one giant adult leap. I decided to stay with my current job. Hopefully, once the server clustering is up, we won't need to stay late and I can get to have more time with the two girls. Even though they won't be reading this, I would like to apologize to my ex-boss and ex-colleagues for being so fickle with my decision. I pray that they will still speak to me after this. Thank you for all the prayers. With God's guidance, I hope I made the right decision.
