Hey June!

I am totally mixing it up with the song and it'll probably stay on my mind the whole day. But, I wanted a catchy title so bear with me...

It's mid month and a lot of things needs to be ready by early July (*hint hint*) I already bought some of the goodies... But, wait... Why is it that June becomes a preparation for July and August? June should be special in itself, right?

We had two best weekends yet.

June 13th with Ninang C... We spent it at Sentosa (Universal Studios and Siloso beach) after a hearty lunch at Sakae Sushi. The girlsssssssssss loved sushi. And, I was amazed and wanted to cry with sheer joy. (That's a mom of picky eaters!) Maybe it's because of this cartoon they watched all the time --- Sushi Pack!

We took pictures outside US hehehe coz the tickets were sold out for the day. We ate popcorn, of course --- cheese and caramel, yum! We heard that there's a $2 entrance ticket at 7pm so I inquired and yep, there was! But, had to wait until it's 630pm to buy. Well, since we're there... We waited then we went to Siloso Beach which was a real treat to the girls. They played near the shore (huh!) while we, adults indulged to some R&R at Bikini Bar. Mixed emotions because in a week's time, Ninang C will be going home... Well, I have a feeling that it'll push through. We went back to US and the girls were disappointed that most of the sites were closed. As Bebi put it, "we didn't go anywhere!!!" Uh... We capped the night with Purefood Sisig at home.

June 20th Father's Day... After church, we have no idea where to go. We, the good parents that we are, threatened the two girls that we'll go home if they don't choose. Bebi A chirped in that she wanted to eat at Sakae Sushi again. So, off we trekked to Orchard Road. We saw the aftermath of the flash flood hehehe Wendy's was closed (sayang!) so we just ate at Sakae again, much to the delight of my girls. Then, we went to Lido to catch a movie. We were lucky that Toy Story 3 3d still have some seats left for the 430 showing... It was a good movie! I cried! Haha!

After the movie, we went to Toys R Us to use the voucher they sent us. I asked the girls to choose a toy worth $5. In the end, we had to pay more because we didn't ask how much Dawter T's purchase. I should have known it's worth more because of the packaging. Oh well... They were happy with their new toys.

Whew... Tiring but very happy moments shared with loved-ones. Wish all weekends were like these two. Carefree, fun, relaxed, fun...

Hey June!

She's 2!

Busy

Bebi A : Daddy, can you make me an airplane? Daddy : Later Ava, I am busy Bebi A : You always say you're busy, you're hurting my feelings... She then put her face down on the sofa. Drama queen!

At 5

Today is the eve of Dawter T's 5th birthday. I couldn't help but reminisce about how she grew up from this jaundiced baby that I had to leave in the hospital to a girl who is vibrant and full of questions and who wouldn't want to be left alone. She's Cinderella's number 1 fan but is now discovering Kim Possible and Totally Spies. She likes to play with the computer, she sometimes uses it to draw using MS Paint or to surf Barbie's website. She doesn't want to be called baby because she's now an older sister. She likes to sleep holding my hand. She loves scrapbooking with me and my friends. She's very good at doodling and was kidding my Mareng M that she'll have her own line soon. HeHe... She's even better at stamping than me. She likes school and doesn't want to skip it even if she's sick. She doesn't sleep early. She sleeps at 11pm (the earliest). She's a very picky eater. Takes her own sweet time to finish a meal. But, eats
