Life Happens

For the past week, I've been stressed coz of work. It just wouldn't click. I thought I was tired and keep missing out on things thus making mistakes. I've been apologetic to everyone and felt really insecure. It's so hard being new and with a bunch of very smart people to work with whom you're trying to impress, I guess trying hard to do just that would only result to a crappy workmanship.

So, from now on, I will stop trying to impress them and start working. *wink*

when i'm in the same predicament and i'm throwing pity parties for myself, my husband likes to remind me that you grow you are challenged...or else you'll just keep doing what you know and never learn...so when you're around smart people, you'll only gain more experiences through them...sucks at first, but you'll get the hang of it! =) plus, you wouldn't be there, if they didn't think you should be...di va?

that's right girl...we work not to impress people, but only one Master...we do our best, and if it's still not good enough to them, heck!!!! But we must do work with utmost diligence, intelligence, patience and yup, doing it right, that's the difference. Doubting ourselves will always happen, but learn to be secure about yourself, what you're capable and what you do best....

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Math Matters

Dawter T called me up and excitedly told me that she's the highest in Math for term 1. So, I thought it was for their exam in Ordinal numbers. "Mommy, Mrs. T said, I am the highest in my tests and in my worksheets. I am 100 %!" Ok, ok, it's our first year in Primary so I am still a bit confused with the grading system. Then, she said, my English is good, but it's not like Math! That got me more confused! But still, I owe her a trip to Night Safari! Hehehe. *** I got home and found Dawter T's assessment folder. And lo and behold, it's true! I am very proud of my chicka! Hehehe (And Pre was even more than proud, for him, only Math matters hahaha)

Busy

Bebi A : Daddy, can you make me an airplane? Daddy : Later Ava, I am busy Bebi A : You always say you're busy, you're hurting my feelings... She then put her face down on the sofa. Drama queen!
