Bird Park

Wednesday night. I bribed my two girls to sleep early by telling them that we will be going to Jurong Bird Park. Dawter T has been there a few times but the lure of going out has is a massive "upper" for her.

Bebi A, on the other hand, has never been there. She was always left behind because it's a major production to bring two hyper active girls on a trip like that, especially with visiting relatives. (Baka parati lang kami hintayin hehehe) Since she turned 2, she has become a good company. I guess seeing things for the first time also made the adults see it like it's their first time.

So that night, when I told them, Bebi A kept on tossing and turning and every so often will say "Bird Park?!" She was so cute. Until she feel asleep saying it.

The next morning when she woke up. "Bird Park?" then waved her hand like a flying bird "Tweet, tweet, tweeeeeeeeeeeettttttttt!". ----"Yey!"

Dress Code

If wearing jeans every day of the week is the gauge for a great workplace, my new job would have a tie with my last workplace in the Philippines. Yes, we can dress down the whole week. I am so thrilled with this prospect. First day was ok. My boss took a picture of me from camera phone and sent this picture in an email to the global team. Oh man! Workwise, I find the team to be so organized and that scares me. After being lawless for a year, it's a big turnaround. When I opened my email this morning, I got almost 70+ mails, and my training plan already laid out. They also gave me a web camera and headset for team web conferencing. (I really need to lose weight now, the camera will add a few more pounds hahaha) Then, I found out that they don't come to work on time and we can leave at exactly 545pm. Woohoo! That's one of the things that were nagging me but I was so pleased to learn that. We even had a 1 and a half hour of lunch time. Hmmm... This could be very...

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Busy

Bebi A : Daddy, can you make me an airplane? Daddy : Later Ava, I am busy Bebi A : You always say you're busy, you're hurting my feelings... She then put her face down on the sofa. Drama queen!
