Yi, Er, San (1, 2, 3)

I took a leave yesterday for Parent's Day at Dawter T's school. And, also to spend time with my two girls. I brought both of them plus Ate A at St. Francis. We were almost late because I had this last minute urge to trim my eyebrows (o di ba priorities!?)

We arrived with time to spare. I met with Teacher Liz who was so nice and who looks like my teacher in grade school (whom I was scared of). She showed me Dawter T's report card and activity book. She said that Dawter T copes well and that she's very independent. Then, we chit chat about her other class which has this "Dennis the Menace" boy hehehe (she's half-Pinay, by the way...) I browsed through Dawter T's report card and was so pleased with her grades, especially her grades for her Chinese class. After checking out their craft projects, we then walked to the far end of the school to talk to her Chinese teacher, Cindy. She told me the same thing as Teacher Liz. Awww, I am just so proud of Dawter T.

Well, I am equally proud of Bebi A. After the Parent's day, I asked them to accompany me to the Philippine Embassy because I needed to renew my passport. Dawter T started counting in Chinese and she asked me to count after her. But Bebi A beat me, she mimicked her ate and it came out really well. I mean, honest to goodness Chinese accent. Nakakatuwa marining!

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Math Matters

Dawter T called me up and excitedly told me that she's the highest in Math for term 1. So, I thought it was for their exam in Ordinal numbers. "Mommy, Mrs. T said, I am the highest in my tests and in my worksheets. I am 100 %!" Ok, ok, it's our first year in Primary so I am still a bit confused with the grading system. Then, she said, my English is good, but it's not like Math! That got me more confused! But still, I owe her a trip to Night Safari! Hehehe. *** I got home and found Dawter T's assessment folder. And lo and behold, it's true! I am very proud of my chicka! Hehehe (And Pre was even more than proud, for him, only Math matters hahaha)

Sunday Afternoon

We've had an adventure this afternoon. We ate at Pizza Hut and was very disappointed that they forgot to bring out our pizza. It should have come sooner but they made a mistake of bringing out thin crust instead of pizza hut. Pre had to ask the crew about it and only then did they informed us that the pizza was still 5 minutes away, and they were giving us some fried chicken for our wait. I mean, hello? We've waited a long time and it was not our fault and you only thought of the chicken after my husband marched in to your area to ask! We're not difficult customers. We're just hungry hehehe... Bad thing turned to good. The manager was Filipina and after Pre told her about our case, she said that Pizza Hut decided that we don't need to pay for what they have served. Fair enough. But, I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. So sad. To cap our day, took some photos of the girls. Ate too conscious of her teeth. Bebi A, loving her yellow balloon.
