Blame it on the weather

The week started on the wrong foot for me. I guess I was probably so tired from the previous week's work and activities. But the Lord had some surprises along the way. So, come to think of it, I just have to plant for my feet on the ground and the week has zoomed.

Come Monday, I made a mini-blooper which didn't sit well with my boss. I actually consider it so small because it will not really halt operations but knowing my 'raise it to the roof' boss, they're probably talking about me behind my back (them being the roof boss and the girl boss). So, to comfort myself, I prayed then login to an account and voila! There was a change, good I hope! But, I wouldn't know until the actual results come. I went home feeling pacified though.

Tuesday was extra special (I am being sarcastic!) It was supposed to be special since I won't be going to the office. I was asked to go to Lotussphere (to rub shoulders with other Lotus Admins/Developers). Free food and goodies usually does something for my soul but I was very uncomfortable at the start of the day because while I was at the mrt, I heared this sound "rippppppppppppp". My long sleeved polo had this 3 inch rip at the back. Ate A told me that it could probably due to the iron's high heat that made the material susceptible to ripping. Hayyy I bore with it until the morning's tea time where I rushed to the mall to buy a new polo. Looking at the bright side, I have a new polo!

The weather kept changing yesterday and it just made me feel blue. At the end of the day, when I arrived home, Bebi A sang abc for me (as in literally, abc lang! hahaha) which had a huge effect to turn around my day! Ang cute kasi!

Lesson learned from Monday til now is that no matter how bad you think the day is, it will surely turn around if you look at the bright side of things.

My dear Soox:
Read lamentations 3:22-24 focusing on verse 23. "His mercies are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness." Remember, our hope rest in Him alone through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Math Matters

Dawter T called me up and excitedly told me that she's the highest in Math for term 1. So, I thought it was for their exam in Ordinal numbers. "Mommy, Mrs. T said, I am the highest in my tests and in my worksheets. I am 100 %!" Ok, ok, it's our first year in Primary so I am still a bit confused with the grading system. Then, she said, my English is good, but it's not like Math! That got me more confused! But still, I owe her a trip to Night Safari! Hehehe. *** I got home and found Dawter T's assessment folder. And lo and behold, it's true! I am very proud of my chicka! Hehehe (And Pre was even more than proud, for him, only Math matters hahaha)

Sunday Afternoon

We've had an adventure this afternoon. We ate at Pizza Hut and was very disappointed that they forgot to bring out our pizza. It should have come sooner but they made a mistake of bringing out thin crust instead of pizza hut. Pre had to ask the crew about it and only then did they informed us that the pizza was still 5 minutes away, and they were giving us some fried chicken for our wait. I mean, hello? We've waited a long time and it was not our fault and you only thought of the chicken after my husband marched in to your area to ask! We're not difficult customers. We're just hungry hehehe... Bad thing turned to good. The manager was Filipina and after Pre told her about our case, she said that Pizza Hut decided that we don't need to pay for what they have served. Fair enough. But, I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. So sad. To cap our day, took some photos of the girls. Ate too conscious of her teeth. Bebi A, loving her yellow balloon.
