Year End Report 2005

2005 came like the wind. Want to share with you some of the highlights.
  1. My brother in law's family came for a vacation on April. Dawter T had a blast, she finally met her cousins. Pre was so happy to see his brother and pamangkins.
  2. Sister C celebrated her birthday in Singapore. Discovered a new caterer. It was a yummy affair!
  3. Watched Hi-5 concert!
  4. Papa came to visit and be with us during Bebi A's birth.
  5. We were blessed with an addition to the family. The birth of Andrea, "andi" on July.
  6. Pre and I were able to celebrate our birthdays with Papa.
  7. Dawter T had a simple birthday celebration. She had so much fun that she cried when her guests went home.
  8. We moved to a new house. How tiring it was to pack and unpack! But, now that we're finally settled. It was worth seeing my family happy in our new home.
  9. My brother in law migrated here in Singapore.
  10. Pre has finally moved to a new workplace. (Libre na pamasahe nya sa bus nyahahaha!) Thank you, Lord!
  11. Bebi A had her baptism on October 9. It was a well-attended celebration of new life in Christ. (tenchu ninongs/ninangs!)
  12. We had a bbq party for Ate A's 33rd birthday!
  13. Had a simple Christmas with my brother in law and his family, and of course, Pre's high school barkada. Ninong Mah's family also came by.
  14. Had a simple but romantic 4th wedding anniversary.

All these and more happened to us. We are very grateful to all the people who shared these events with us. We thank the Lord for continuously touching our lives with new experiences, new friends.

Sign off 2005. Cheers 2006!

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Math Matters

Dawter T called me up and excitedly told me that she's the highest in Math for term 1. So, I thought it was for their exam in Ordinal numbers. "Mommy, Mrs. T said, I am the highest in my tests and in my worksheets. I am 100 %!" Ok, ok, it's our first year in Primary so I am still a bit confused with the grading system. Then, she said, my English is good, but it's not like Math! That got me more confused! But still, I owe her a trip to Night Safari! Hehehe. *** I got home and found Dawter T's assessment folder. And lo and behold, it's true! I am very proud of my chicka! Hehehe (And Pre was even more than proud, for him, only Math matters hahaha)

Sunday Afternoon

We've had an adventure this afternoon. We ate at Pizza Hut and was very disappointed that they forgot to bring out our pizza. It should have come sooner but they made a mistake of bringing out thin crust instead of pizza hut. Pre had to ask the crew about it and only then did they informed us that the pizza was still 5 minutes away, and they were giving us some fried chicken for our wait. I mean, hello? We've waited a long time and it was not our fault and you only thought of the chicken after my husband marched in to your area to ask! We're not difficult customers. We're just hungry hehehe... Bad thing turned to good. The manager was Filipina and after Pre told her about our case, she said that Pizza Hut decided that we don't need to pay for what they have served. Fair enough. But, I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. So sad. To cap our day, took some photos of the girls. Ate too conscious of her teeth. Bebi A, loving her yellow balloon.
