Baby Stuffs

We had a revelation last week. Bebi A is now 14 months yet my tummy is still like I am on my 4th month of pregnancy... Ok ok, I know, I have to earn a flat tummy by doing some sit ups. But this is just a prelude. Ate A teased Dawter T that i have another baby inside my tummy. She adamantly said no. She said she don't want another baby. Ever. Where did that come from? It's probably from all the attention we're giving Bebi A. Our constant nagging that she has to be a good ate, to set a good example. Maybe she had too much too soon.

Hiatus

I've been on a blogging hiatus. Not because I forgot about it. But, I was so very busy. 3 weeks ago, my two daughters got sick one after the other. Thinking about it makes me want to thank God all over again that they are now up and well. Mid this month, my aunt and uncle came for a visit. We brought them around during the weekends and met with them during the weekday nights. Two days before they left, my aunt's daughter, one of my fave cousins, came for a vacation. She's still with us as of this writing, we're trying to influence her to stay so that we pig out on her homemade salsa and relyenong itlog. My kumare's blog shouted out my sentiments at work. Well, I am trying to like it. I make myself very busy so that I don't have time to think of negative thoughts (read : resign). However, when I went to my ex-office, it brought back "I want to resign" feelings. Oh well, just have to move on. I just have to think that I can claim my daughters' medic...

The WHYs

We've been sleep deprived for the past two days because Bebi A is sick. We just couldn't sleep as we need to check her temperature. Anyway, this morning, Dawter T called. She usually calls me after she wakes up to say goodbye (that is, when I leave while she's still sleeping). I told her that I am about to take the lift. She asked why. I told her I am going to the deli to buy coffee. She again asked why. I told her that I am sleepy. "Mommy, you just go home and sleep!"

Feel Good

I just felt that lately, my posts seems to have gotten an essence of my current well-being --- ang pagka-aburido ko sa trabaho! I decided to post some stories about Bebi A. Bebi A is exactly 14 months old today. Let me describe her to you as her mom's point of view. She's matakaw. We wonder how come she doesn't get fat. Elo, pati nga crayon, kinain e! When I made a comment about this to Pre, he told me, Bebi A might has weak lungs. Hmmm... My take on this, she probably has "sawa" on her tummy as she's not as maarte as her ate (kaya nga nakakain ng crayon e). She rolls on the floor even if it's dirty. She hides from the curtain even if it's dusty. She likes Mc Donald french fries so much and cries out in agony if we're not too fast in feeding her. As in, she gets mad. Haha. During her Ate's birthday dinner at Kenny Rogers, she would point at my chicken when I fail to give her some. She's our alarm clock. She wakes up at 6 or 6:30 because tha...

Off day

I was really devastated about this missed opportunity just because I was so tired. Just to recap how tired I was --- I woke up early this morning to bring mama and sister D to the airport. Later this evening, we went to see our friend who got hit by a car at Tan Tock Seng. As soon as I arrived home, I ate fast then settled in front of the pc. Woohoo... The call was a bomb! It seems to me as I was not myself, I felt I couldn't understand what the other party was asking me. Hayyyy... Nakakahiya na, nakakainis pa. Oh well, if it's meant for you, the blessing will come through.

10-4ty

I was blog-hopping, not because I don't have anything to do but I was so tired from lack of sleep and food. I also had a disconcerted morning to which I attribute to one problem that came up recently and to which Sister C and I are trying to find a solution to. one. i want to be able to play basketball with my son. well, i don't have one yet and i don't intend to make one out of my daughters so that means, we're trying for a boy. not this year or the next (well, hopefully) but by the time we know we know how and ready. two. i want to own a party store. it may sell ready made items or i can custom make also. three. i should have put this before number two. what i need is to retire by 40 and i hope by that time, they can give me some retirement money to set up my party store. problem is, i am very good at job- hopping so i think i should just start saving for my party store thaan relying on that retirement money. four. travel to US. ewan ko ba, mailap talaga. five...

Thoughts I've Pondered

There are times when you try to tough it up but you still end up in the losing end. A small consolation is that you're right, though you may be the only one who knows. Because the other party never seems to see his mistake. *** It's so hard to weigh things up. One makes you unhappy, the other one is unknown. But you want to reach it even if it is not yet there. Because you feel it's your salvation from the otherwise monotony. *** There will be someone who wouldn't want to see you move on. And, when you look in a mirror, there'll be a vague reflection. Somehow, in the past, that someone was you. *** People around you make or break you. It's up to you though if you're going to let them.
