Mind of a fickle

Today, I am 38.  What more could I ask for?  Hmmm, maybe good health to see my daughters through. The day started like any other day.  Greetings from family and friends were received.  Went to church at 12nn.  Then, went home.  Was able to haggle a small wish from Pre that turned out to be a bigger blessing --- him picking up the girls.  If I did, we would have been caught in the rain while the car's wiper was getting blurry (note to self : need to change wiper). We capped the night at Highpoint.  Spent most of it at Build a Bear then had dinner at Dumpling Plus.  The most special event of the night was when Pre and the girls surprised me with a plate of brownie, with a candle on it.  Sweet!

It's the day before I say goodbye to 37 and say hello to 38.  Yes, I am in my late 30s.  Sometimes, I don't feel like it but there are times when my body's just tired. I felt that my 37th year passed by catching up on everything I need to do.  I don't want a repeat.  I want to set a goal for myself to achieve something.  It may not be something big but something that will make my heart say "yes!" I decided to have a bucket list for my 38th year.  I will try to fulfill it, after all there are 12 months starting tomorrow.
