Mind of a fickle

I had this huge problem at work that I couldn't solve. It started on October after our mail server upgrade and we still couldn't solve it until today. Did everything I could, I know, I would. And, nothing seemed to work. From the start, I wanted to tell my users that it's not the mail server which has problem. But, since I am a NKOTB, it's hard to be this blunt. My boss was not very happy and that was a thorn on my side. I am scared to lose my job. *smile* The sun finally shone on us today. The problem was solved. Just a very simple tweak compared to what we did for the past months. Thank you, Lord! Now, I can start the new year with a smile. *** Today is tita E's birthday! Api Bertday!

I was a bit excited for the girls when I saw the BPP (Bukit Panjang Plaza) hahaha have Barney shows for this festive season. Though they seldom watch Barney these days, seeing Barney in his purple Dino persona is something kids get really excited about. Living near the mall has surely it's pluses hehehe

Last Saturday night, we watched Maalaala Mo Kaya featuring Juday. We (ooops Sister C and Ate A) were making additional ribbons to hang on our Christmas tree. Anyway, my girls cannot sleep if I'm not yet inside the room so they kept on going to the living room until Pre came from his basketball game and they caught 10-15 minutes of the show. We cried coz it talked about forgiveness, and family and Christmas. Dawter T was quiet when she went inside the room. And, when we're already in bed, she kept on asking me about the show. I explained to her about it because I don't want her to think the mothers can just poison their children, grrrr, that's why I try not to make them watch those kind of things. Later on, she still couldn't sleep, she asked, "why are all Filipino 'movies' sad?" That made me laugh. So I told her, that the shows we watch here are limited but there's also happy shows. Awww...

Or is it just me? I am unprepared this year. I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet. But, I am not in a hurry, hahaha. The clincher is we haven't even put up the tree. Well, it's coming today. That at least is happening. I am off to my company or should I say my department's Christmas party. I hope that it'll get the Christmas spirit to start bubbling inside me. I'm with Pre by the way. I wil have someone to talk to in case they start to talk in Mandarin. Haha. And, it's buffet, enough said! Haha. Oh work, oh work! Wish all my problems at work will be solved soon so I can look forward to Christmas. One happy thing happened today. I won! I won at Toto! For the overwhelming prize of 20SGD! Hahaha. At least...
