A Parent's Fear

Came home last night and saw Bebi A at the door. She greeted me and I asked her to bring my lunch box to the kitchen. "Mommy, I'm tired." What? Hahaha. I tried not to laugh. Later that night, Pre asked Bebi A to scratch his back. "Daddy, I'm busy."

Welcome Home

This greeted me at the door. My uber artistic dawter T made this for me!

Where Dreams Come True

I was feeling down tonight because of a work problem. I suddenly had a breakthrough... So, I gave myself a break.

Disneyworld, Here I Come!

Have you ever had a dream all your life and kept wondering if it will ever come true? I know, I know. Well, mine is going to Disneyland. That's why I couldn't believe this blessing. All along, I thought Tita A will just come visit me here in Austin. Imagine my surprise when she asked me if I can get off at 2PM because I need to go somewhere. She didn't want to say it at first but since I had to ask permission from my boss, she said that we'll go to an amusement park. Hmmmm.... So, I thought we're going to LA. It has been a dream and in a few hours, I'll be the...

And Just Like That

They have a new president. When I scheduled my trip to the US, I didn't realize that it'll hit the election day. And, when I did, I thought Nov. 4 would be a holiday. It was not! The system was very different from that in my home country and I was so amazed at how peaceful it was. So, last night, when McCain conceded and Obama became the 44th president, I was glad that I got to see it, another experience for me and I was part of the history or should I say those who watched "history" to happen. *wink* HeHe. Totally different from the election in the Philippines. Arggghhh.

A Long While

It's not that I've forgotten about this blog, but life and scrapbooking happened. Hehe. I am now in Austin, for my company's IT conference. As many of you know, this has been a dream. I am thankful to God for all these blessings.
