A Parent's Fear

Came home last night and saw Bebi A at the door. She greeted me and I asked her to bring my lunch box to the kitchen. "Mommy, I'm tired." What? Hahaha. I tried not to laugh. Later that night, Pre asked Bebi A to scratch his back. "Daddy, I'm busy."

Welcome Home

This greeted me at the door. My uber artistic dawter T made this for me!

Where Dreams Come True

I was feeling down tonight because of a work problem. I suddenly had a breakthrough... So, I gave myself a break.

Disneyworld, Here I Come!

Have you ever had a dream all your life and kept wondering if it will ever come true? I know, I know. Well, mine is going to Disneyland. That's why I couldn't believe this blessing. All along, I thought Tita A will just come visit me here in Austin. Imagine my surprise when she asked me if I can get off at 2PM because I need to go somewhere. She didn't want to say it at first but since I had to ask permission from my boss, she said that we'll go to an amusement park. Hmmmm.... So, I thought we're going to LA. I am fairly poor in US's geography, I still don't know if I am in the East or West. Well, now that I am writing this, Austin is probably west hehehe I remembered cowboys are in the West, hahaha... So, back to the "dream". Tita A said LA is too far so we're going to Orlando. Disneyworld??? Even better that I cried. I still feel tears in my eyes whenever I think about this. It has been a dream and in a few hours, I'll be the...

And Just Like That

They have a new president. When I scheduled my trip to the US, I didn't realize that it'll hit the election day. And, when I did, I thought Nov. 4 would be a holiday. It was not! The system was very different from that in my home country and I was so amazed at how peaceful it was. So, last night, when McCain conceded and Obama became the 44th president, I was glad that I got to see it, another experience for me and I was part of the history or should I say those who watched "history" to happen. *wink* HeHe. Totally different from the election in the Philippines. Arggghhh.

A Long While

It's not that I've forgotten about this blog, but life and scrapbooking happened. Hehe. I am now in Austin, for my company's IT conference. As many of you know, this has been a dream. I am thankful to God for all these blessings.

Night Without Her

I couldn't believe that I actually said yes when my sis in law asked Dawter T if she wants to sleep at their house. A part of me wanted to take it back but how could I? Dawter T was so excited. But, during the time that she took a bath, I was having a monologue on what she should do in a different household. In my mind, I was really panicking. The worst part of the night was Bebi A's cries for her ate. She was silently shedding tears which made it all the more pitiful. And, kept on asking about her ate. There's always a first time. But, why am I hoping that it would be the last? Hahaha...
