Season of Hope

Good things happen to us during Easter. After all, it's the season of hope. It's something that made me reflect on the goodness of the Lord. After the heartaches, we too had our own little victories in life. Oh, please don't get me wrong, I still sulked at times (my hubby will probably say --- most of the time hahaha) when things don't go my way but I want to remind myself of the countless blessings we've received. Jesus has risen. And, he suffered not for his own glory but because he loves us so much and wants to save us from our sins. Happy Easter

Then and Now (Dawter T)

I was tagged by Strawberrygurl but only managed to blog about it today. Just brought my Tita E, Tito B and kids to the airport after their 1 week vacation here. It's always sad when somebody leaves. Sadder for me now because this is the family I grew up with. Will write a separate post about our 1 week Singapore tour. Here are the Rules: If you still keep your baby’s first 3 days photos, We would love to see them. Label them as 1st, 2nd or 3rd day (as shown below). After that, please post the most recent one, one photo will do. You can post as much as you want though. I’m sure you will realize and tell yourself “seems like yesterday”. THEN 1st Day 2nd Day 3rd Day NOW

My Little Piccaso

I heeded to the comment left by cousin Ninang R (thank so much! hihihi). Of course, no matter what direction my daughter takes, as long as it is a good path. We have to support her. There's a nearby art school in UE Square where I work. Since it's her school break this week, I let her tag along with me today and brought her to the school. You should see how her eyes lit up when the art teacher showed her the jewelry box that she will be painting. Well, you see, aside from being an artist, she's kikay to the max. The jewelry box has a mirror inside so go figure. It just tickled her kikay bone.

Pocoyo

What a funny thing to do at church! Just before the consecration and the "Holy, Holy" song was being sung, she did her Pocoyo dance, she shook her bootie to the tune of it. Hahaha. People tried not to laugh. The ushers who were beside us faced the wall and giggled. Honestly, I couldn't concentrate after that. She was just so darn cute!

What She Wants To Be

She wants to be a painter, an artist. Though we try to veer her out of it haha (the very thing I told myself not to do to my kids!!!), it's what she wants at 5. Well, let's see. She still has 13-14 years to decide.
