Everyday Is A New Beginning

New Year for this blog is almost a month after.  Anyway, Chinese New Year is around the corner.  So, it's still "New Year"...  But then, whatever day it is or month, I always feel that everyday is a chance for a new beginning.

2012 held lots of wonderful memories, and sad ones as well.  Last year held a different role for me.  Mom, Wife, Homemaker, Employee in one roof.  I always felt and probably will always feel that coming to Melbourne is a huge blessing for me and my family.

The girls are settling quite well even without Ate A at their side.  I think this is the greatest blessing that I get to receive.  To take care of my daughters first hand.  I see them thriving, though still very shy.  I guess it's in the genes.  Their appetite is so good that hubby and I sometimes have to ask them to stop eating.  LOL.  Bebi A had few asthma episodes even during winter.  Ate is growing up, becoming a lady in every way.

Pre is happy at work.  Happy husband is a happy wife.  Not much squabs.  That's all I ask each day that we live in harmony.  LOL.

I had to leave work and start a new one.  It was sad.  But, a joyous beginning as well.  Gone are my stressful days.  I no longer had to wake feeling scared.  I just couldn't wake up early nowadays hehehe...  My last job drained me emotionally.  My new job, though the same kind of work, has more impact physically because I had to wake up at 5AM to prepare my daughters' lunch boxes, breakfast, etc.  Then, had to leave the house by 630AM to catch the train and reach the office at 730AM so that I can go home at 430PM to pick up my girls at the after school care program before 6PM.  The first few weeks was like joining Amazing Race, catching one train after the other.

I believe that we will slowly settle down.  Sometimes I wished that it'll normalize soon.  But, I had to patiently wait for that time.  It will come.  Everyday is a New Beginning.

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Math Matters

Dawter T called me up and excitedly told me that she's the highest in Math for term 1. So, I thought it was for their exam in Ordinal numbers. "Mommy, Mrs. T said, I am the highest in my tests and in my worksheets. I am 100 %!" Ok, ok, it's our first year in Primary so I am still a bit confused with the grading system. Then, she said, my English is good, but it's not like Math! That got me more confused! But still, I owe her a trip to Night Safari! Hehehe. *** I got home and found Dawter T's assessment folder. And lo and behold, it's true! I am very proud of my chicka! Hehehe (And Pre was even more than proud, for him, only Math matters hahaha)

Sunday Afternoon

We've had an adventure this afternoon. We ate at Pizza Hut and was very disappointed that they forgot to bring out our pizza. It should have come sooner but they made a mistake of bringing out thin crust instead of pizza hut. Pre had to ask the crew about it and only then did they informed us that the pizza was still 5 minutes away, and they were giving us some fried chicken for our wait. I mean, hello? We've waited a long time and it was not our fault and you only thought of the chicken after my husband marched in to your area to ask! We're not difficult customers. We're just hungry hehehe... Bad thing turned to good. The manager was Filipina and after Pre told her about our case, she said that Pizza Hut decided that we don't need to pay for what they have served. Fair enough. But, I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. So sad. To cap our day, took some photos of the girls. Ate too conscious of her teeth. Bebi A, loving her yellow balloon.
