A lot of people are getting married today or giving birth. They said that it's a lucky day! *wink*

It's the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. Don't laugh but things like that gets me worked up --- I cry. I am too sensitive for my own good. A few days back, there was torch ceremony and when I saw Yao Ming, pool of tears started to form in my eyes hehehe. I guess deep down, it feels so good to see people coming together as one. (Sana parating ganun). I pray for world peace!

Then, Singapore also have its own celebration tomorrow. It's the 43rd National Day! In the bus today, there are already a lot of people wearing red. Dawter T is wearing red shirt and white shorts today. They have a celebration at school. In fact, she will be singing "Singapore Town" along with classmates (they sing this song every year).

A few days ago, Dawter T asked me if there's a Philippines Day! Hmmm, I only know of Philippines Independence Day so I told her June 12. (Tama ba na yun ang sinabi ko?)

For my friends in Singapore, yahoo, 1 day is added to our leave pool! Yahoo!

The week started without my Tagalog tele-serye. Yes, I vowed to stop watching after Ysabella ended hehehe I vowed to stay away from the tv at night and just be with the "3" kids. Hahaha. So far, so good. I had a very interesting week at the office where my boss and I talked about my performance. I was quite disappointed with some of his "thoughts", I felt that it was very subjective especially when he had to name people who he thinks we should gang up with but I really really don't like. He said that I cannot choose my users. True. But, he's not a typical user, he's out to get our bloods (He always have to brag that he's rubbing shoulders with the head of all heads whenever we have meeting with him! As if that will scare me off! Hahaha!). Even though my blood was close to boiling point, I quickly signed off my appraisal form. Let's wait and see how "good" the result is in a few months. What got me spiffy are the little thing
