McDonalds Adult Party

We bid our farewell to Mareng B last Saturday. It was all girls kiddie party at McDonalds, since we won'tbe able to celebrate her birthday with her, we decided to advance it tied to the despedida.

Due to my busy schedule (o diba, showbiz na showbiz?), I was not able to follow up on McDo at the time that we wanted, around 6pm. So when I called 7 days before the event, the slot has been takenup. What did I expect? So we were left with an 11AM party. Mareng B was quite curious as to why we're meeting this early.
She was so surprised. We asked her to blow the candles of her oh so tiny cake hahaha

Then, Auntie Monica asked us to join the games. Hala, ang saya nga mga bata! E nanalo pa ako, so doubly fun! I now know Dawter T's feeling whenever we get to the party late and she was not able to join any games.
We then ate our feast, mine was Chicken McNuggets with all the sauces that McDo has to offer. Haha. Sarap pala pag party because all the sauces are out there for your grab.

Kinuntsaba naman si Auntie for another game. Pass the parcel. The music will stop while the parcel was with Mareng B. We then gave her this McDo box (the happy meal box), and inside it was our despedida gift for her.
After that, we then asked her to seat in the center while she gives out the lootbags (McDo Beanie toy anda plastic folder), she even gave our her own souvenirs for us hehe

It was another way to spend a lazy Saturday. Despite the puyat because I finished a mini scrapbook for her which contained recipes, it was all worth it. But, when I kissed her goodbye, I was teary eyed and held back. We've been together since 1999, we spent two years as roommates.I am so used to seeing their family in our parties. Hayyy, I will miss her kids. My kids willmiss her kids. I know we'll see each other again, by hook or by crook, hehehe.

Nyamy Nyamy

Our Bebe A is at the stage of being cheeky and endearing.  She can speak so many words now, some clear, some not.  Hehehe.  She likes to sing as well.  She actually has a good tone.  One of the songs that she likes is the one from Wiggles --- Fruit Salad.  Her version though is : Mom : Fruit Salad Bebe A :  Nyamy Nyamy (Yummy Yummy)

Math Matters

Dawter T called me up and excitedly told me that she's the highest in Math for term 1. So, I thought it was for their exam in Ordinal numbers. "Mommy, Mrs. T said, I am the highest in my tests and in my worksheets. I am 100 %!" Ok, ok, it's our first year in Primary so I am still a bit confused with the grading system. Then, she said, my English is good, but it's not like Math! That got me more confused! But still, I owe her a trip to Night Safari! Hehehe. *** I got home and found Dawter T's assessment folder. And lo and behold, it's true! I am very proud of my chicka! Hehehe (And Pre was even more than proud, for him, only Math matters hahaha)

Sunday Afternoon

We've had an adventure this afternoon. We ate at Pizza Hut and was very disappointed that they forgot to bring out our pizza. It should have come sooner but they made a mistake of bringing out thin crust instead of pizza hut. Pre had to ask the crew about it and only then did they informed us that the pizza was still 5 minutes away, and they were giving us some fried chicken for our wait. I mean, hello? We've waited a long time and it was not our fault and you only thought of the chicken after my husband marched in to your area to ask! We're not difficult customers. We're just hungry hehehe... Bad thing turned to good. The manager was Filipina and after Pre told her about our case, she said that Pizza Hut decided that we don't need to pay for what they have served. Fair enough. But, I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. So sad. To cap our day, took some photos of the girls. Ate too conscious of her teeth. Bebi A, loving her yellow balloon.
